So this week we opened Drilla to the public.

It’s something we’ve built to augment our own trading and it’s now available to you.

Without doing the full marketing pitch, Drilla is an on-chain analysis tool we’ve built for Solana. We identify and track wallets that demonstrate an incredible edge on chain… both in terms of win rate and in terms of profit and loss.

We’re always curating this list as we discover new wallets with a demonstrated edge and we also cull wallets that don’t meet our standards regularly.

A core concept for Drilla is using the wisdom of crowds.

Drilla applies this concept of collective-intelligence to on-chain trading.

Nice, but what is all this stuff?

At this moment, Drilla consists of two main parts…

• Alphastream - Live activity of the smart money wallets

• Tokenflows - Aggregated insights on the activity for a given period

Tokenflows

The Inflows and Outflows show the movements of tokens for your selected time period, and also show the number of distinct wallets that bought or sold.

Inflows\outflows are shown as a % of the total volume so you can judge the strength of hodler conviction at a glance.

Alphastream

The alphastream shows buys and sells live as they come in. It has some information about the wallet that made the trade, the token and transaction details, and a few useful links to help you decide if you want to take some action. Rugcheck in particular is an excellent tool to help you weigh up the risk of a position.

If you want to make a trade, you can follow one of the links to your preferred screener platform to inspect the charts and set up your trade.

An interesting feature of note, when a smart-money wallet buys a new token for the first time, we mark these transactions as “New”.

So how can you trade it?

A few different trading styles are already emerging from this simple tool.

Strategy: Trading off the inflows and outflows

You might start by looking at the inflows and outflows for the last 24 hours to see if there are any tokens of interest.

If you’re hunting for a scalp, you might inspect the 1 hour Tokenflows and the 15 minute tokenflows. If you saw a smart-money wallet buy a token in size on the 15 minute chart, you might look at the charts and see what the smart money is seeing.

For example, this week on the 15 minute tokenflow, I saw a wallet buy $70k worth of $WIF. I looked at the chart and was able to catch the second leg of an upswing for a 10% trade.

Using this method, we’ve also caught most of the majors early from the 15 minute tokenflow.

Strategy: Scaling out on strong outflows

Keep an eye on the outflows section.

If you’re holding a position and you begin to see the smart-money exiting at volume, you might consider scaling out of the token.

Strategy: Focusing on a token in the stream

Using the filter button, you can filter on a specific token you’re focused on trading.

You can watch the buys and sells in the stream live, and get a gist on what the smart money are doing. If you’re vigilant you can see them entering or exiting in size.

Strategy: Focusing on a single wallet

If, in your research you find a wallet you’re interested in copying or getting ideas from, you can filter that wallet on the alphastream and observe their activity in real-time.
